Flower Pressing Workshops with Sarah Holland

I am delighted to offer a full-day traditional flower pressing course at the beautiful Netherwood Estate on the Worcestershire-Herefordshire border.

I will teach you my flower pressing techniques, providing tips and tricks on how to work with different flowers and achieve stunning pressings. You’ll then spend time gathering flowers from the gorgeous Netherwood Manor gardens before putting your learning into practice, pressing them in a beautiful large traditional flower press (designed by me!) that is yours to keep.

After a delicious two course lunch prepared from the kitchen garden, I will demonstrate how I create my pressed flower artwork, before providing you with a selection of pre-pressed flowers from which you can mindfully create your own floral masterpiece. Your artwork will then be framed and yours to take away.

This wonderful, relaxing course is taught in a small group in the most stunning setting and includes all materials, refreshments and lunch. Arrival is for 9:45am. Timings for the end of the day are left open to allow you to create your artwork at your own pace; most participants tend to finish between 4pm and 5pm.
