I am delighted to offer a full-day traditional flower pressing course at the beautiful Netherwood Estate on the Worcestershire-Herefordshire border. The day is designed to give you a detailed insight into the world of flower pressing, providing you with all the knowledge you need to feel confident with both pressing flowers and creating with them.

I will teach you my flower pressing techniques, providing tips and tricks on how to work with different flowers and achieve stunning pressings. After a demonstration you’ll then spend time gathering flowers from the gorgeous Netherwood Manor gardens before putting your learning into practice, pressing them in a beautiful large Meadow and Thyme flower press (designed by me!) that is yours to keep. I’ll be on hand to gently guide you and help with any questions you may have.

After a delicious two course lunch prepared from the kitchen garden, I will demonstrate how I create my pressed flower artwork, before providing you with a selection of pre-pressed flowers from which you can mindfully create your own floral masterpiece on stunning textured lokta paper. Your artwork will then be framed and yours to take away.

This wonderful, relaxing course is taught in a small group in the most stunning setting and includes all materials, refreshments and lunch.

Dates for 2027 workshops will be announced soon! You can book or find out more from the link below, which will take you to the Netherwood Estate website.

If you are unable to attend a workshop, you can still purchase a Meadow and Thyme flower press and start your own flower pressing journey under the guidance of my book, The Pressed Flower Handbook.
